A World Of Bubbles And Pure Dog Joy

Safety First - Always
Your dog's comfort and wellbeing guide every underwater session. Sessions are paced slowly, with plenty of breaks, and every step is supervised closely.
-
For diving dogs only - underwater photography requires a dog who enjoys diving below the surface, not just swimming.

-
Owner stays in the pool - your presence keeps your dog calm and supported throughout the session.

-
Controlled water entry - dogs walk down a ramp- no jumping allowed to protect joints and reduce stress.

-
Monitored stamina - diving is tiring, so we build in rest breaks and watch your dog's breathing and energy closely.

-
Professional underwater gear - my underwater camera and strobe are designed for safe use around dogs, with no sharp edges or loose parts.

-
Warmth matters - we ensure water and air temperatures are comfortable and keep towels and blankets handy for warming breaks.

How Underwater Sessions Work
Step 1: The Setup
-
Shallow-entry pool with a gentle ramp (no jumping required)
-
Underwater camera housing and strobe lighting for crisp action shots
-
Toys are used to guide movement and create natural expressions
-
Owner is in the pool with me to support and guide the dog
Step 2: During the Session
-
Your dog enters the water at their own pace
-
We encourage natural diving, swimming, or retrieving movements
-
Short bursts of activity followed by built-in breaks
-
We adjust the session based on your dog's comfort and energy
-
Each dog is photographed individually and receives dedicated time

Step 3: After the Session
-
A quick towel-off to keep your dog warm
-
You will receive a preview timeline and next steps
-
Your reveal gallery will be ready for viewing in about one week
-
From there, you choose your favorite images and wall-art options
Important Considerations
-
Your dog must be comfortable diving, not just swimming. Dogs who do not naturally dip their head underwater will not enjoy this type of session
-
Owner participation is required. You will be in the pool with me to guide, support, and help your dog stay relaxed
-
Some dogs need extra time to warm up. Every dog enters the water differently - we follow their pace and never rush
-
Water clarity varies. Depending on movement and lighting, some images may show natural bubbles and swirls that are part of the underwater aesthetic
Investment
Your Underwater Session includes a fully guided experience in the pool, professional underwater gear, and a dog-centered workflow that keeps safety and comfort at the forefront. Artwork, albums, and digital files are selected during the review of the gallery.

Because every dog, every pool, and every home is different, I don't offer one-size-fits-all artwork packages. Instead, I personally help you to choose:
-
The best images that showcase your dog's underwater personality
-
The right artwork size for your home
-
The product type that fits your style (acrylics, metals, albums, or digitals)
-
A collection that reflects your budget and decor plans

Most clients invest in a combination of wall art and digital files after their session.

Before You Book
Your most important underwater questions answered clearly and simply.

How Do I know if my dog is a good fit for underwater photos?
Underwater sessions are specifically for dogs who can safely dive their face fully underwater. Confident swimmers who love retrieving toys underwater do best. If your dog only enjoys surface swimming, an underwater session may not be the right fit.

Do I need to be in the pool with my dog?
Yes. Owners join their dog in the pool the entire time for safety, comfort, and teamwork. You will help position your dog and support them between dives.

How deep is the water?
All sessions take place in a controlled pool environment with a safe entry/exit ramp. Owners can walk safely in the entire pool. Dogs walk in - no jumping from the deck.

Is underwater photography safe?
Yes. Sessions are short, include frequent breaks, and your dog's comfort is monitored closely. If your dog seems overwhelmed or tired, we pause immediately.

How long does the session take
Temporary tinting can happen - especially on light or white fur. It fades with brushing and usually disappears within a few days.

What should we bring to the session?
Please bring treats, a helper, towel or blanket for your car, a dry dog (wet coats don't hold powder correctly).

How long does the session take?
Most underwater sessions take 30-45 minutes, depending on your dog's pace, confidence, and stamina.

Will the water irritate my dog's eyes or ears?
Pools used for sessions are maintained specifically for dogs. If your dog is sensitive, you may use vet-approved ear-drying solutions afterward.

Can you photograph multiple dogs?
I photograph one dog at a time, but dogs can rotate safely with you in the pool.

Are images included?
No. Images and wall art are purchased separately after the post-edit.

What should I bring to the session?
Bring: Towels for the dog, dry clothes for yourself, the dog's favorite sinking or floating toy, treats, ear cleaner (optional)
