A collection that reflects your budget and priorities,

Before You Book
Your most important powder-session questions, answered clearly and simply.

How messy will my dog get?
Very! Powder sessions are intentionally vibrant and fun. The colored corn starch is safe but will cling to fur until brushed and rinsed off afterward and will still be seen for a while.

Is the powder safe for dogs?
Yes. I use non-toxic, pet-safe colored corn starch. It is used outdoors and applied safely by hand.

Can my dog participate if they have never jumped before?
Absolutely. A jumping dog looks amazing, but it's not required. I have multiple ways to capture dogs who prefer running, posing, or chasing toys.

What if my dog won't stay still for the powder?
Totally normal! A helper is required for handling, and I guide you through every step. Even wiggly dogs photograph beautifully in these sessions.

Will the color stain my dog's coat?
Temporary tinting can happen - especially on light or white fur. It fades with brushing and usually disappears within a few days.

What should we bring to the session?
Please bring treats, a helper, towel or blanket for your car, a dry dog (wet coats don't hold powder correctly).

How long does the session take?
Event sessions take 45 min for each dog, private sessions take up to one hour, depending on your dog's pace.

Can I choose the colors?
Yes. Color choices are yellow, orange, red, purple, blue, green, pink, teal, white. They are selected on-site, and I will be happy to help picking them.

When will my images be ready?
Your reveal gallery will be ready in about one week for viewing, selecting wall art, or choosing digital files.

Are images included?
No. Images and wall art are purchased separately after the post-edit.

What if my dog has an event after the session?
Avoid booking powder sessions right before any dog conformation or dock diving event. if there is an event where it doesn't matter if your dog is stained - you are welcome to join.

Can you photograph multiple dogs?
Yes. In event sessions, dogs are scheduled back-to back.

What should I wear?
Wear clothing you don't mind getting dusty. Powder transfers easily.
